A teaser photo of Carrie and Scott's wedding in Wales...

The photos will be officially published over the next 2 to 3 weeks, but in the mean time I wanted to share this picture of the beautiful bride...

Samantha & Ben's wedding at The Spa Hotel, Tunbridge Wells, Kent

On the 8th July Sammi & Ben got married in a large and lavish ceremony at The Spa Hotel in Tunbridge Wells.

The girls got ready in the Bride's room with glasses of champagne while the men arrived at the hotel closer to the ceremony time.

The day started with torretial rain but cleared through the day leaving us with a long summers evening which was perfect for these shots of the couple in the beautifully manicured grounds...

The day was full of fun and laughter, children and humour which I really enjoyed capturing.

I also got to see my first fully choregraphed first dance with the whole bridal party joining in to a medley of songs!

Carrie & Scott's Engagement Shoot

It was a wet cold Saturday morning, but that didn't put a dampener on the engagement shoot of Carrie and Scott, who are due to be wed in October this year.

We headed for Danson Park, near Bexley in Kent and managed to have half an hour without the rain being too torrential. Just enough time to get these beautiful shots of the couple...

I look forward to the wedding and hope the weather in Wales this October is a little bit better than that we had on this shoot! If it's not, we still know the pictures will come out great after this!

Poppy & Tom's Wedding

A taster of photos from the wedding on Poppy & Tom! An English garden wedding which oozed shabby chic style in every way!

I must say that The Rectory Hotel is one of my favourite wedding venues to shoot, having been to the hotel on breaks before I have come to know the grounds very well and really enjoy shooting in them at all times of the year.

The weekend was Glastonbury weekend and clouds loomed, we were all concerned the muddy wet weather associated with the nearby concert may play havoc with the wedding plans but the rain luckily managed to stay away for the couple!

The couple were married in the nearby medievil catholic church, St Mary's in Cricklade, complete with a choir who sang 'How sweet is that love' as they left the church, to which many of the congregation joined in with. The wedding was then followed by a reception back at The Rectory Hotel in Crudwell, Cotswolds.

The colour scheme of turquoise, fushia pink and green ran throughout the event from the flowers, to the bridesmaid dresses, the name cards and the sambuca favours left at everyone's table place!

The wedding had a few surprises throughout the night making it unique to this couple including a cake topped with shamrocks for Tom's Irish side of the wedding party and Poppy's to represent the brides name.

This was then followed by a gift from the bride to the groom of Irish dancers performing to us all. The evening entertainment was then a DJ accompanied by Saxysymbol, the very talented saxophonist from The Netherlands, whose excellent playing ensured everyone was up and dancing the night away...

My favourite part of wedding photography is getting to see the contrast of both sides getting ready! Here is a selection of photos of the Bride and Groom getting ready, their last moments as singletons...
